Dr. Abid Rafique

Executive Founder

Dr. Abid is the Chairman and Executive Founder of Murabbi. He is a serial entrepreneur with over 21 years of industrial experience and 5 startups with a successful 6M PKR GBP exit from AuditXPRT. His startup, trulD, was recognized as one of the top 15 innovative startups by HEC - World Bank Group and received an 8M PKR cash award. Dr. Abid has done his MS from Technical University Munich and PhD from Imperial College London and is currently an Assistant Professor at SEECS, NUST.

Dr. Nazia Perwaiz

Dr. Nazia Perwaiz

Dr. Nazia Perwaiz has more than a decade of professional experience in conducting hands-on training programs for master trainers, software administration and management for NUST Learning Management Solutions. Currently working as assistant professor in the department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at NUST-SEECS, her research interests include machine learning, computer vision, video analytics, object tracking and re-identification, and developing Al solutions for industry.

Dr. Wajahat Hussain

Dr. Wajahat Hussain is an Associate Professor at NUST-SEECS. He holds a PhD in Robotics (University of Zaragoza, 2016), an MS in Signal Processing (Technical University Munich, 2010), and a BS in Electrical Engineering (NUST, 2007). He was a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute (2014). His work is published in top conferences (PETS, BMVC, AAAI, RSS, ICCV, IROS, WACV, AURO). Awards include the EU Graduate Fellowship, NUST Merit Scholarship, and the National Award for `Excellence as an IT student` for his Telemetry ECG project.Driven by `AI for everyone`, he simplifies complex concepts. He leads the Ministry of Federal Education & NUST collaboration project, training faculty in 150 federal schools to teach Coding, Robotics, and AI to 35,000+ primary students.

Dr. Syed Taha Ali

Dr. Taha Ali, an Associate Professor at SEECS, NUST, holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UNSW. With a background in Electronics Engineering, he researched lightweight healthcare device security. He boasts industry experience, research roles in Australia's CSIRO, Newcastle University, focusing on WiFi, cryptocurrencies, and secure elections. Renowned for impactful cryptocurrency work, he initiated Pakistan's first dedicated MS course, advising government bodies on secure elections. He also contributes to local media.

Dr. Latif Anjum

Dr. Latif Anjum

Co-Founder

Dr Latif Anjum is working as assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering at SEECS – NUST where he is also heading Robotics and Machine Intelligence (ROMI) Lab. He is an alumnus of Politecnico di Torino, Italy (PhD), Seoul National University, South Korea (MSEE) and UET Lahore. His research interests include robotics, computer vision, and machine intelligence.
